Details: Saturday 9/16 we are hosting Sac Bookventures for their first monthly book swap event. 

Participants will be given a number as they arrive. You’ll have 30 minutes to find and purchase one of your favorite books. After that, numbers will be called in order and each participant will swap the book they purchased for one that another participant purchased. Bookventures ends when the last swap is made. The goal of the event is to share your favorites with others, meet new like-minded readers, and to discover new favorite books.

Details: In July and August we received a ton of damaged books in our new book orders. Many of the books were dinged up just enough to make us not want to sell them new. So we’re having a “bruised booksale” to help them find a home! 

All books will be marked down based on their condition but all books are printed properly and readable. 

The sale will run all day Wednesday 9/23 from 11am to 7pm or until we run out of books.

Free crafting club! Bring your current project and hangout with other craft-lovers while you work. 

Crafting starts at 5:30pm and will run until 7:00pm with plenty of breaks for shopping in the middle. Feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks. You can show up anytime after 5pm as space is available. Crafting materials will not be provided. 

If there is enough interest, we’d love to make this a regular thing for people to come hangout and craft on a weeknight. If you do attend, let us know what you think and if you’re interested in a regular meetup. Feel free to bring your friends!
