About the Book:

The Countess Luchia de Sarracenia is a very powerful vampire with only one wish in her immortality — to see her face.  She hires a series of painters but all seem to fail at capturing her beauty.  

Venus is a young painter with an aspiration to be recognized for her talents, despite being a woman in a male-dominated field.  She thinks she may have realized this dream with the Countess, however, the bloodthirsty nature of her new patron has her wondering how far she’s willing to go to achieve her ambitions.
