The two books in Fear the Flora take wildly different approaches to explore the consequences of all our technological “progress” taking its toll on the plant life of earth. 

In The Book of Koli, we meddle with plantlife, it morphs and mutates all the way up the food chain and becomes predatory. How might human society be changed after it's knocked down to the bottom for a few centuries? 

In Grasshands, mysterious moss starts to grow on books in a small town library. It transfers knowledge and information directly into your mind until that info overwhelms all your senses and madness consumes you. An analogy for our modern internet and the damage done by the firehose of information we consume everyday. 

These books are gritty, surreal, and disturbing. They dig deep and expose our hubris with a harsh green carnivorous light.
